Our experienced independent psychologists at Kincumber Psychology Practice provide support for a broad range of psychological concerns, offering tailored, evidence-based interventions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Fiona Stacey

Registered Psychologist / Director/ AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor

Fiona is a highly qualified psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience across private practice and public health settings. She is experienced in a wide range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, CPT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, Solution-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Fiona works with diverse presentations such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, adjustment difficulties, grief/loss/bereavement, trauma and adversity, sleep disorders, eating disorders, neurodiversity, OCD, functional neurological disorders, chronic illness, phobias, and relationship issues. She is also an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor, offering professional supervision to psychologists. As Director of Kincumber Psychology Practice, Fiona is dedicated to creating a welcoming and empowering space, supporting clients toward meaningful, lasting change.

Bernadette McCosker

Clinical Psychologist

Bernadette is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist who has been practising since 2015, with over 35 years of professional experience in both public and private sectors. She supports clients across the lifespan, from adolescents to older adults, addressing a wide range of mental health conditions and emotional challenges. Bernadette works collaboratively with each client, tailoring therapy to meet their unique goals. She draws on evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, IPT, mindfulness, and EMDR. Passionate about client-centred care, Bernadette has a particular interest in helping adolescents and adults manage clinical anxiety, improve daily functioning, and enhance overall wellbeing through thoughtful, compassionate treatment.

Mark Stevens

Registered Psychologist

Mark is an experienced psychologist who works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. He is trained in evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and integrates positive psychology and strengths-based strategies to support meaningful, lasting change. Mark has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioural issues, trauma, substance use, and suicide prevention. He has a particular interest in alcohol and other drug prevention and treatment, helping clients explore healthier coping strategies and improve wellbeing. Mark is committed to creating a respectful, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Oliver Scott

Clinical Psychologist

Oliver is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist utilising a wide range of clinical, evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR, and Interpersonal Therapy to help clients achieve psychological growth and improved wellbeing. Oliver treats a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation difficulties. He has a particular interest in adolescent and adult male mental health, focusing on self-esteem and identity development. Passionate about addressing longstanding emotional and relational challenges, he uses Schema Therapy to help clients reshape deeply rooted thinking and behaviour patterns, fostering lasting change.

Melinda Henry

Provisionally Registered Psychologist

Melinda is a provisionally registered psychologist with a Master of Psychological Practice and a strong academic and practical foundation. She has a specialised focus on childhood and adolescent mental health, neurodiversity, and women’s wellbeing. She also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Food and Nutrition), supporting her holistic, lifestyle-based approach to care. Melinda uses evidence-based therapies including CBT, play-based therapy, mindfulness and solution focussed therapy. She is an experienced practitioner in delivering anxiety related treatment interventions to children and young people. She provides comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive testing and diagnostics for ADHD and learning disorders. Stacey Taggart

Registered Psychologist / Educational and Development Registrar / AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor

Stacey is a neuro-affirming psychologist registered with AHPRA, specialising in the mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents. She uses a collaborative, strengths-based approach, working closely with families, schools, and professionals to create individualised care plans tailored to each client’s unique goals. Stacey provides flexible, client-centred psychological assessments that highlight strengths and address specific concerns. She supports parents in understanding results and advocating for their child. Her assessment expertise includes tools such as MIGDAS and ADOS (Autism), WISC and WIAT (ADHD and learning), and additional screeners for conditions like dyslexia. Leigh Irvine

Practice Manager

Leigh provides comprehensive administrative support, including appointment scheduling, GP and specialist referrals, Workers Compensation claims related matters, NDIS appointments, and guidance through Medicare rebates. With 17 years of experience as a Practice Manager in psychology services, Leigh brings extensive expertise in practice administration and business management. She plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth, client-focused experience and is dedicated to assisting clients through every administrative step of their ongoing care, in line with our commitment to best practice standards.

Eliza Middleton

Business Administrative Coordinator

Eliza is dedicated in providing exceptional administrative support. She manages appointment scheduling, GP and specialist referrals, Workers’ Compensation claims related matters, NDIS appointments, Medicare rebates, and ensures the smooth daily operation of the practice. A long-standing and valued team member, Eliza recently returned from two years of overseas travels, bringing with her enhanced skills in administration and business management. Eliza is currently completing a Bachelor of Business/and Bachelor of Sustainability and Environment majoring in international business. Her experience and commitment helps ensure a professional, supportive environment for all clients.
