How It Works

DVA Psychology Services Central Coast

We are proud to offer psychological therapy services for current and former members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) through funding from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). Therapy is also available to eligible family members, depending on the type of DVA card held.

Who is eligible?

If you hold a DVA White Card or Gold Card and have a GP referral, you may be entitled to fully funded psychological sessions with no out-of-pocket costs.

What can DVA therapy help with?

We provide confidential, evidence-based therapy for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Adjustment to civilian life
  • Chronic pain and stress
  • Sleep problems
  • Grief and loss
  • Relationship and family issues

Whether you’re dealing with the long-term impact of service, transitioning out of the ADF, or navigating personal challenges, we’re here to help in a way that is respectful, understanding, and tailored to your individual needs. We understand the unique experiences of veterans and service personnel. Our approach is trauma-informed and client-centred — we work at your pace and focus on your goals.
