Our experienced team of psychologists assist clients dealing with a wide range of psychological presentations. Our clinicians undertake and are committed to continuing professional development, ongoing learning and peer supervision. Psychologists are members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and The National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioural Medicine.

Fiona Stacey

Principal Psychologist / Practice Owner
Board Approved Supervisor

Fiona is a qualified and experienced psychologist, registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), with over 12 years experience working in both private practice and public health sectors. Fiona is trained in a wide range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, EMDR, solution focused therapy, Interpersonal therapy and Gottman couples therapy.

Areas of clinical interest include depressive and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, adjustment, trauma and stressor-related disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, functional neurological disorders and relationship issues. Fiona is also a board approved supervisor available for professional supervision and mentorship.

As Practice owner, Fiona takes immense pride in, and is committed to ensuring all clients of the practice, present and future, feel welcome, heard, respected, and empowered by their collaborative therapeutic experience. It is always a privilege to assist clients in attaining their therapeutic and valued goals.

Oliver Scott
Registered Psychologist

Oliver has extensive knowledge in all areas of mental health assessment and treatment intervention planning with young people.  Oliver’s friendly and easy going personality style promotes engagement with his clients which in turn contributes to positive mental health gains. Oliver has experience working with adults across the life span. 

Natasha Kiemel-Incorvaia

Registered Psychologist – Currently Telehealth Appointments only, Wednesdays

Natasha works with individuals across the age span and has a keen interest working and supporting the adolescent age group 13+ years and above with various presenting psychological problems ranging from mood and anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, trauma, study/routine difficulties, self-esteem and life transitions. Natasha also works with clients dealing concerns around careers, relationships, friendships, unwanted memories, Pregnancy and post-partum 4th trimester and beyond and Tourettes and associated diagnoses including OCD, ADHD and ASD.

Natasha combines a range of therapeutic interventions to assist her client therapy including CBT,ACT, DBT, EMDR, CBit, Mindfulness, Chairwork and motivational interviewing.

Rebecca Garnett

Psychologist (provisional) 

Rebecca creates a comfortable, non-judgemental space where clients can explore issues that affect them in everyday life. Rebecca has a particular interest in adult ADHD, and ADHD in women and girls. She is also keenly interested in supporting people with chronic medical conditions such as Type 1 Diabetes, and challenging life transitions such as loss, retirement, and menopause. 

Rebecca has worked with clients from young to old, from a range of social and cultural backgrounds, with presentations including anxiety and depression, attachment and relationship issues, and learning difficulties. She applies an eclectic mix of evidence-based therapeutic modes. 


Atu Mwakasendo
Psychologist (provisional)

Atu is a new Intern Psychologist, who joins Kincumber Psychology Practice as he completes his AHPRA/Board approved psychologist registration program. Atu will be seeing clients initially from the ages of 10 years to approximately 30 years of age, for the treatment invention and planning for anxiety and depressive disorders. As he is building his clinical competencies under the supervision of Fiona Stacey (Board approved supervisor) he would best suit referrals for clients where co-morbidities in mental health are not an issue. He has recently completed training in the treatment of anxiety disorders for children with the Cool Kids Program and will be competent in supporting older infants and adolescents in anxiety management interventions. 

Atu, at this stage will also be able to see clients under a PRIMA referral through Coast and Country Primary Care.

Stacey Taggart
Registered Psychologist / Board Approved SupervisorCurrently on Leave Due back January 2022

Stacey is an enthusiastic and passionate psychologist experienced in child, adolescent and family mental health. Stacey works with various presentations including anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, trauma and challenging behaviours.

Stacey adapts her therapeutic approach to the individual, drawing together modalities including Cognitive Behavioural, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness and creative/play-based therapy. She works from a holistic approach with families and schools to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.  Stacey is also a board approved supervisor.

Bernadette McCosker

Bernadette has practiced as a registered Clinical Psychologist since 2015 and has over 35 years of professional experience in a range of domains within both the public and private sectors. She is experienced in working with individuals with a wide range of mental health issues and social and emotional difficulties across a range of age groups, from adolescents to older adults.

Bernadette is passionate about working collaboratively with her clients in understanding their concerns, and adapting therapy to meet their needs. She is committed to ensuring the highest level of care by providing evidence -based treatment, and works with a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Focused Therapy, IPT, Mindfulness, and EMDR.

Bernadette has a special interest in providing evidence -based treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing clinical levels of anxiety to improve their function and achieve a greater sense of well-being.

Leigh Irvine

Practice Manager

As your first point of contact with Kincumber Psychology Practice, Leigh will support you in all aspects of scheduling your appointments together with assisting you through your Medicare and/or private health rebates. Leigh is an integral part of KPPs best practice approach to supporting our client needs.

Eliza Middleton

Receptionist

Along side Leigh, Eliza provides administrative support making sure your enquires and therapy session appointments are answered and organised clearly and efficiently. Our admin team respectfully show all of our clients, new and existing, that they matter!

Joining the Practice in 2021 as part of the administration team, Jasmine who is also studying Psychology, is here to help clients with making appointments and all aspects of client administration.
